12/1 - Palantir has been quite a story since its IPO. We recommended buying at 9$ and taking profits after the remarkable run to 30+ for more than 200% gains. Watching the stock very closely for another good entry point in the 20-25$ range. Stay tuned!

We did buy again in the mid-20s and currently the stock trades at 130+. The company has innovated by leaps and bounds, but valuation remains is a concern. The report coincides with Amazon launching a new agentic AI team to help develop technologies that will power robots “operating in Amazon distribution and logistics hubs.” In a statement to Silicon Valley, Amazon says that “instead of rigid, specialized robots, we’re creating systems that can hear, understand, and act on natural language commands, turning warehouse robots into flexible, multi-talented assistants.”

Amazon has a long history of using robots in its warehouses, and even acquired robotics company Kiva Systems back in the day (Amazon acquired Massachusetts-based Kiva Systems in 2012). Since then, Amazon has developed, produced, and deployed more than 750,000 robots across its warehouses and operations network. So they definitely have some expertise in this area.

But every once in a while, we see a political event that can have a massive impact on the economy (at least certain sectors of the economy) and your investing strategy. In such cases, it is worth analyzing the event, understanding “why this happened” and being prepared for the future. If you don’t do that, you are flying blind and hoping for the best, and hope is not an investment strategy.

That may be about to change, since there are rumors of Robinhood beta-testing a professional-grade desktop trading platform that will launch sometime later this year. Normally we don’t pay much heed to rumors, but this one caught my attention because it makes perfect sense. If Robinhood wants to grow to the next level, it has to attract the “stock bros” and professional traders, the folks who make 20-30 trades a day. That’s how you grow your business and trading volume exponentially. And you cannot do that with just a glitzy mobile app and a bare-bones web app.

This news/rumor, combined with strong fundamentals (their user growth numbers are pretty impressive) and a stock price on the verge of a technical breakout, all of this makes me super bullish. I will do more research and also reach out to Robinhood’s IR team if they want to comment publicly, but in any case I am buying the stock here at the $19 level and will add more if it pulls back. I want to get my position in before the train leaves the station - especially since the chart looks great!

The stock has pulled back nearly 20% and currently trades just under $104. IMO, this offers an attractive entry point for growth-minded investors who are comfortable with the inherent risk in the so-called AI trade.

We are buying at these levels and holding for the long-term. There is risk in any investment but Nvidia is the leader of the AI revolution (on the GPU/hardware side) and we want to ride this wave until something materially changes.
